Task Bar of Ragnalis Updates
Official patch notes, roadmap targets, and recovery steps after launch fixes.
Why this hub exists
Task Bar of Ragnalis launched on Steam as a free-to-play idle auto-battler that lives on your Windows desktop. In the days after release, Jagernaut Games published hotfix notes that matter more than marketing blurbs: readability options, Gunner accuracy, DLC recognition, chest and EXP soft locks, anti-cheat false positives, and a Reset path in Settings. This Updates hub is the index for those notes and for the published roadmap targets that follow them.
If you only want the chronological fix list, open Patch Notes. If you care about what is planned next—and what was postponed—open Roadmap. Both pages stick to Steam-news facts and call out delays honestly.
What changed in the early patches
v1.0.1 introduced a temporary text size option, fixed Gunner accuracy, corrected DLC recognition issues, added a Reset button in Settings (changing character means starting over), and reduced difficulty on stages 1-1 through 1-3.
v1.0.2 addressed chests that would not open, EXP that stopped granting, and maps that felt stuck. The same wave of notes explained that anti-cheat could be too strict when timezone data mismatched, producing soft bans. An emergency follow-up told players whose rewards broke after a 1.0.1 reset to press Reset again.
Those details are expanded with recovery checklists on the Troubleshooting guide. Pair that page with this hub whenever a Steam update lands and your idle loop looks broken.
Roadmap targets (and one hard delay)
Steam news outlined near-term targets roughly as follows:
- Around August 7 — v1.1 Cooking Buffs
- v1.2 Market — indefinitely postponed due to Japanese legal concerns around the Premiums Act
- Around August 21 — v1.3 Arcana Cards
The Market postponement is not a soft delay with an open window. It is an indefinite hold with a stated legal reason. Read Roadmap before you plan progression around player trading or Steam Market assumptions borrowed from other idle games—or from Task Bar Hero, which is a different title.
How Updates connects to the rest of the wiki
Patches change how you play, not only what the changelog says:
- Class and party advice lives under Classes (Templar Knight, Priest, Witch, Gunner, plus DLC Pirate and Overlord).
- Loot, eight equipment slots, nine-copy tier-ups, and random skills live under Items.
- Practical how-tos live under Guides, including How to Play, Stack Items, and Early Progression.
- Paid packs are covered in DLC when recognition or ownership questions appear after a hotfix.
- Calculators and planners sit in Tools for stack math and party planning after balance or difficulty notes.
- Setup and readability belong in Setup, especially when text size options change.
- Expectation-setting lives in Review if you are deciding whether to keep grinding through early patches.
Reading order after a bad session
- Confirm you are on the latest Steam build, then skim Patch Notes.
- If chests, EXP, stuck maps, soft bans, Reset, or DLC recognition are the issue, jump to Troubleshooting.
- If you were waiting on Market features, read Roadmap so you stop planning around an indefinitely postponed system.
- Return to core progress loops: stacking via Items, party roles via Classes, and idle habits via Guides.
What this hub will not invent
This wiki does not invent Task Bar Hero systems, fake redeem codes, or unpublished combat formulas. There is no redeem codes system in Task Bar of Ragnalis—see Codes if a third-party site claims otherwise. Offline rewards exist as a design feature, but exact rates and timers beyond Steam news are not fabricated here.
Stay current without chasing rumors
Use this Updates hub as the bookmark you reopen after every Steam news post. Prefer official notes over Discord screenshots with no date. When a patch changes early stages, DLC recognition, or Reset behavior, update your habits with Troubleshooting and keep building through the free base classes and the documented party-of-three loop—not through rumor macros or fake gift codes.
Task Bar of Ragnalis is distinct from Task Bar Hero. Keep that separation in mind whenever an “update summary” mixes the two names. For a clean comparison page, use vs Task Bar Hero. For whether the F2P loop is worth your time during this patch window, use Worth Playing and the Honest Review.
